New Patient
Welcome to Visionaire! This page has all the information you need for your first visit, including downloadable forms, appointment preparation tips, and what to expect during your eye exam. We want to make your experience smooth, comfortable, and stress-free from the moment you arrive.
What to Bring to Your Visit
-
Current glasses and/or contact lenses;
-
Contact lens box or prescription (if applicable);
-
Medical and vision insurance cards;
-
List of current medications and dosages;
-
Sunglasses (if your eyes are dilated).

What to Expect During Your Exam
Your first visit includes a comprehensive eye exam designed to evaluate both your vision and overall eye health. During the exam, we’ll review your medical and vision history, perform a series of vision and eye health tests, and take the time to discuss any findings or recommendations with you.
If dilation is recommended, special eye drops may be used to allow the doctor to examine the inside of your eyes more thoroughly. Some patients experience temporary light sensitivity or blurred vision afterward, so we suggest bringing sunglasses and planning accordingly.
Insurance & Payments
We accept most major medical and vision insurance plans and are happy to assist with billing on your behalf. Copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles are due at the time of service, and any services not covered by insurance are the patient’s responsibility. While we do our best to verify benefits in advance, we encourage patients to familiarize themselves with their insurance coverage to help avoid any unexpected costs.
